AP Capstone Diploma

I received my AP Capstone Diploma after successfully completing both AP Capstone Seminar and AP Capstone Research. In AP Capstone Seminar, I learned the basics of both synthesizing and presenting information. In this course, I collaborated with my peers to produce a series of essays and a presentation regarding the extent of the United States government's impact on U.S. civilian life. I also preformed a similar task with an independent project on the extent of resilience within the Netflix Original TV show BoJack Horseman. In this project, I had practice analyzing media and connecting art with scientific information such as psychology.

In AP Research, I had the ability to go much further with the processes I began learning in Seminar. In Research, I learned the basics of multiple research methods. I learned to write literature reviews and to write a scientific paper. Within this study, I conducted professional interviews and followed standardized research procedures. I also learned to effectively communicate these findings via written content and presentation. I participated in a discretion at the end where I defended my research, methods, and study importance.
