As a National Merit Scholar, I know the importance of the PSAT and SAT. As a tutor, I know how difficult this exam can be for student. With this in mind, I was able to utilize my position as National Honors Society President to create a series of PSAT/SAT workshops to help students improve their test scores. Over 100 students participated in these workshops, reviewing curriculum that is likely on the exam and learning to use Desmos, the built in calculator allowed for the exam. As the math lead for this project, I coordinated the math curriculum and math activates for these events. As president, I facilitated the event, giving opening remarks and delegating tasks between leadership and our volunteers.
